The management and communication were extremely disappointing. When I first toured the venue, the walkthrough was done by a previous employee who was fantastic and ultimately sold us on the venue. I later learned she was no longer employed, as the venue had decided to move in a different direction with the events they host. Prior to our wedding, the building had undergone a significant remodel that was NEVER communicated to us. When we arrived for our rehearsal, we discovered that the layout had changed dramatically. The Sunset Lounge we had planned to use for overflow seating, elderly and noise sensitive guest was completely gone, with new walls built where that space previously existed. There was also confusion regarding the groom’s suite during rehearsal because the doors were locked and appeared painted shut. We reasonably assumed the suite was no longer available, only to later discover it had been only accessible from the external entrance. This change was never communicated. Great place for place for a nice fall event. I can't wait to come back next year for Briarwood Arts Center Toast Mimosa Fundraiser. It was ALL That and some!

The Plant Venue was my absolute dream venue. The space is SO gorgeous, and the staff is so great and so professional. Their website answered most of my questions, but when I had to email the response time was so quick. We opted for a DIY wedding and they were so understanding and helpful. Everything turned out beautifully and I couldn’t be more happy with this venue.

The Mississippi Book Festival held the 2023 Pre-Fest Party at The Plant this past Thursday. It was HANDS DOWN the best pre-fest party we have had in the festival's nine year history. There were more people than ever, better food than ever, and the most beautiful space. People came up to me the entire event saying how gorgeous the space is. It filled me and the rest of the book festival team with so much pride to show off such a special venue to our audience and showcase the wonderful things our city and state is capable of doing. Hosting your special event at this venue is a no-brainer! I look forward to working with the incredible team at The Plant for next year's event!

We needed an event space for a private dinner and Eco Shed was a wonderful location for all of our needs! Clean, private, and oasis-like due to the urban farm on-site and stunning array of plants, they accommodated our every need. I worked with Coretta and she made sure we had a great experience from start to finish including making lovely centerpiece arrangements at the last moment. Highly recommend, thanks Eco Shed!
